Rombald's Poem - performed by Irene Lofthouse

As part of the launch event day of the Rombald's Rocks project in Keighley, local actor, historian and performer, Irene Lofthouse, will be reciting a poem inspired by a local legend.

Rombald's poem tells the tale of a giant who created the Cow and Calf rocks in a fit of temper and who has been the inspiration behind the Rombald's Rocks project and the Keighley Sculpture Trail.

Irene is doing 4 performances on the launch day at the historical Royal Arcade shopping centre on East Parade at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

Performances will last a maximum of 30 minutes.

There will be lots of other activities going on across the town centre as part of the launch event on Saturday 24th May 2025.
