American Red Cross Babysitters Basics Training

This course is open to all youth interested in childcare and covers how to provide safe care for infants and children, what to do in an emergency, how to choose age-appropriate activities, how to recognize and handle a variety of child behaviors, and different parenting style requests. Upon completion, participants will earn an American Red Cross babysitter certification that does not expire.

To register you must complete the online registration form below prior to class, registration will close on July 10th or until filled. Seats will be limited to 13 participants.

In support of Cheshire’s ongoing commitment to equity, the cost of this course has been subsidized to $20 per participant, allowing greater access to this valuable community resource.
