The Arc of Buffalo County invites the community to join in a joyful, inclusive celebration of Disability Pride Month on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Harmon Park in Kearney. This annual summer event brings people of all abilities together to celebrate.
From 1:00 to 3:00 PM, the event will feature an engaging Resource Fair and craft vendor area, where attendees can connect with organizations offering services, support, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families. Whether you're looking to learn, shop, or build community, there's something for everyone.
This year, we're thrilled to introduce a new highlight:
“Hat’s-Off to Disability Pride” Hat Fashion Show – from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, participants are invited to create and showcase a unique hat while walking or rolling across the stage to the tune of their choice. This fun and expressive event will take place at the Harmon Park Stage or inside the Activity Center, depending on weather conditions.
