🌿 Volunteer Opportunity: Help Honor Katy’s History at the Community Cemetery 🌿
The Katy Heritage Society, in collaboration with TxDOT, invites you to participate in a meaningful Community Outreach Event at the Katy Community Cemetery on Monday and Tuesday, August 25–26, 2025.
This special two-day effort is designed to honor the rich history of our community, promote collective remembrance, and support the ongoing preservation of this important cultural site.

When: Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26
Where: Katy Community Cemetery
Time: Volunteer shifts and coordination details will be shared soon.
🛠 What We’ll Be Doing:
As part of the outreach effort, we’ll be mapping the fenced-in portion of the cemetery to support historic preservation. Volunteers will assist in site documentation, coordination, and community engagement. No experience needed—just a heart for service and a love for local history!
