PFAS Class Action - Community Briefing Event

Community meeting about the PFAS class action and an update on our Blue Mountains PFAS contamination

We are holding a STOP PFAS community meeting at Katoomba RSL.

DATE: Saturday June 14th
TIME: 11am to 12:30pm

We will be updating the community on:

- the upcoming class action to demand free PFAS blood tests and compensation

- the latest info and test results on the PFAS contamination of our tap water.

- how people are using their PFAS blood testing results to reduce the PFAS chemicals in their blood

Speakers will include Jon Dee from STOP PFAS, water expert Professor Ian Wright, PFAS expert Dr Nick Chartres (by video) and Oliver Gaynor from William Roberts class action lawyers.

Local people who have had high PFAS blood test results such as Nick A’Hern and Catherine Kennedy will also be speaking.

Please share this info and put it in your diaries.

If anyone can help us to distribute posters to cafes and community noticeboards, please let us know. We need to put up posters between Springwood and Mount Victoria.
