EMERSON & WOOD

James Emerson has been an active performer in the local music scene for a number of years and has studied under some of Australia's most prolific guitarists including Mark Johns and Jeremy Sawkins. His sound is a rich blend of musical styles showcasing swinging walking bass lines, chordal improvisations and soulful melodies.

Tom Wood has been active in the Sydney jazz scene, playing with various groups including the Djangologists. Notable performance highlights include playing at the Manly Jazz Festival and a sold out show at the Paris Cat in Melbourne.
