What is Apimondia?
Founded in 1895, Apimondia is the International Federation of Beekeepers’ Associations and all organizations working in the field of beekeeping.
It is a non-governmental organization that brings together:
- beekeepers
- equipment manufacturers
- scientists specialized in beekeeping, apitherapy, pollination, development, and economics.
🎯 The main goal of Apimondia is to facilitate the exchange of information: a place where beekeepers, researchers, honey traders, technicians, and policymakers can meet, listen, discuss, and learn from one another.

The congress is jointly organized by the beekeepers’ associations of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark (Sveriges Biodlares Riksförbund, Norges Birøkterlag, Danmarks Biavlerforening).
