Trip to Avedøre Power Plant

Dear all KT students.

The company committee has arranged a trip to the Avedøre Power Plant, where we will have a presentation and a guided tour by Johan Wadenbäck – Senior Chemistry Specialist at Ørsted.

Hopefully, we will get some insight into the role of a chemical engineer at the plant. For example, this could include the operation of the boiler, desulfurization, DeNOx, and how heat integration is applied at different parts of the plant.

We have been given a maximum limit of 25 participants, so we hope to reach exactly 25 😊.

A bus will depart from DTU at 12:15 from Building 229.
