With a pair of homegrown hits behind him and plenty more in the tank,
Sony Music Publishing singer-songwriter Trey Lewis has emerged as the
straight-talking, salt-of-the-earth hero country fans crave. A Birmingham,
Alabama native known for breaking country’s unspoken rules, he’s spent 12
years on the road perfecting a gritty mix of contemporary country and
Southern rock—turning his call-it-like-I-see-it attitude into song.
After his breakout smash, “Dicked Down In Dallas,” went viral in 2020, the
cheating anthem with a modern punch became an organic Number One on
iTunes, amassing more than 500 million streams and making Lewis a
nationwide force. He followed up in 2022 with another self-made iTunes
Number One—the back-in-the-saddle anthem, “Single Again”—and has
continued building a reputation for fusing country horsepower with
refreshing honesty and a troubadour’s wit.
Now, that reputation expands as a bigger picture comes into focus. A
perennial underdog and relentless road warrior, Lewis showcases his true
character and artistry on his newest single Ain’t Sober. With each track he
puts out, he proves that country music could use a few more bold
storytellers like him.
Meanwhile, the rising star keeps his foot on the gas, maintaining a
relentless tour schedule. More information is available at
