Come join us in a forum of three organizations that applied and completed their projects in the Historic Northeast. You will have an opportunity to find out how they were able to apply and receive the funding to complete the projects.

Guest speaker: Sarah Waggoner is the Grants Manager with Neighborhood Services Department. She will share City's side of the ReBuild grant program and future opportunities.

• Don Bosco Centers- Kitchen renovations, Meals on Wheels improvements, Presenter Liz Zini, Development Director
• Lykins Neighborhood - Connecting people to housing, presenter Angie Hicks-Curtis, ED, BSW & Bi-Lingual Service Coordinator of the Lykins Neighborhood

The Neighborhood Services Department administered the ReBuild KC grants. This grant provided a unique opportunity for organizations and individuals to build better, stronger neighborhoods.

This initiative was part of the City's plans to shift the department to a more solution-oriented team that is responsive to residents.
