The buffalo grass is doing really well in the Pocket Park, but feeling pressure from other weeds. Come join us on a few Wednesdays to help clear weeds, learn more about the Pocket Park, plants and connect with other neighbors.

All you need are gloves!

This species was selected for its low growth height and maintenance (once established): Buffalo Grass is drought resistant, needs little mowing, and can grow roots up to 3 to 6 feet. It also grows most efficiently during the hottest times of the year.
