Union Cemetery’s “Historical Epitaphs: Voices from the Past” special event returns May 23 and 24!
On this walking theatrical tour, you’ll be guided through some of the cemetery’s beautiful 27 acres and introduced to some of the people who helped shape Kansas City history, hearing stories of their lives in their own reimagined words. This year, a few new voices have been added to this long-running, favorite event!
This special tour lasts roughly an hour. Please note that the terrain in many areas of the cemetery is uneven, so this tour may not be suitable for everyone.
Your ticket purchase helps pay our actors and director as well as supports the preservation of historic Union Cemetery, a Kansas City landmark. We’ll hope you’ll come to learn about the cemetery and Kansas City history and enjoy this special place.
