Info: Nicholas Segura is the founder of Segura Marketing & Media Solutions. His experience in Hispanic and multicultural marketing spans 20+ years from his early days at Dos Mundos Bilingual Newspaper. At Dos Mundos, he worked with corporate clients to ideate and produce campaigns targeting the Hispanic market. Seeing the potential for other media channels, he launched his own agency and started working with clients directly in a variety of different media. His team has worked directly with clients, partner advertising agencies, and nonprofits to produce messaging that is authentic to reaching diverse consumers. His goal to develop the most diverse creative advertising agency in the Midwest helping clients understand the nuances of diverse communities.
Info: Dani Welniak is the Vice President of Communications for the Kansas City Current of the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League). She joined the team in July of 2022. Prior to that, she spent six years as the Sports Director at KCTV5 (CBS) in Kansas City, hosting the Locker Room Show on KSMO-TV. Welniak graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. Jocelyn Monroe is the VP, Head of Marketing for the National Women’s Soccer League Kansas City Current, the organization leading the construction of the first stadium designed specifically for a women’s sports team. She will lead the team’s brand marketing and promotional efforts. Monroe graduated from Albany State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and earned her Masters at North Carolina State University.
Info: Nick Main – Recognized by Ad Age, Creativity Magazine, The Clios, The One Show and the National ADDYs just to name a few, Nick has made a career of developing brands through creativity. During his 20+ years in advertising, he has had nearly every role possible in a creative agency from Mail Room Guy to Creative Director to Agency Owner. And Nick's help with The Kansas City Royals, The University of Nebraska's Athletic Department and the Nego Leagues Baseball Museum and The Kansas City Chiefs banding will be fully utilized in this effort.
