Join us as we take powerful steps to a safer future. The Steps In His Honor walk is a community led event to honor Khari Wilkes . This walk is a peaceful demonstration of unity , hope , and action. Each step taken is a call for safer neighborhoods, and communities free from the threat of gun violence.
The event will be held at the same location of the candle light visual at the corner of Waco and Kennedy Ave. in Little Texas…. Tents can be set up and Lawn chairs / chairs recommend for seating.
The event will include
Food
Speeches from local leaders
A commemorative walk through key parts of the community
A moment of silence to honor victims of gun violence.
Speeches will begin at 2pm
The walk will begin at 3:30 and should be done by 4:30pm.
There will be donation boxes available at the walk to go towards the reward . There is also an electronic option available on event brite to make a donation . Link below ⬇️ ⬇️
