CONCERTS IN THE PARK: Patriotic Pops with the Kalamazoo Symphony
THURSDAY, JULY 3, 2025
7:30 - 9:00 PM
Bronson Park

Kick off the Fourth of July weekend with a beautiful Michigan summer night filled with the sounds of the Kalamazoo Symphony.

About the Kalamazoo Symphony:
For over a century, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra has been sharing lifelong musical experiences and learning throughout our community. The KSO actively collaborates with other Kalamazoo area organizations to inspire, care for, educate, and connect people through the arts. As the state’s third-largest orchestra, in Michigan’s sixth-largest metropolitan area, we serve the community with a professional roster of more than 80 musicians and a dedicated staff through exceptional symphonic music, world-class guest artists, and a vibrant educational program.

Location:
Bronson Park
200 S Rose Street
Kalamazoo, MI 49007

About Concerts in the Park:
Concerts in the Park is a program of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, with support from the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation and the City of Kalamazoo. It is one of Kalamazoo’s long-standing traditions, typically offered on Sunday afternoons in June, July, and August in Bronson Park, delivering a unique offering, unlike any other. Each concert is free and is friendly for the entire family. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair for your comfort.

There is not a rain site for Concerts in the Park. If inclement weather is expected the concert may be canceled by 2 pm on that same day.

Parking:
On-street parking is available all around the perimeter of the park.
Additional parking is nearby at the South Street Parking Garage.

Children's Nature Playscape is a nonprofit organization that stewards a nature-inspired play area in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. We are a team of educators, counselors, scientists, and parents who believe that every child should have the freedom and tools necessary to explore the world and relationships that surround them, and that in doing so they will discover that people from all walks of life, including them, belong in our world, natural or otherwise.

We are thrilled that the Playscape will be open on our concert nights 30 minutes prior, during, and 30 minutes after all Concerts in the Park this year!
