Follow their journey filled with characters, funny tales, and stories of a life well traveled. Topped with plenty of musical twists and turns, improvisation and vocal harmonies.
JT and Maggie Wise enjoy crossing the musical traditions. You will hear many influences when listening to their songs. The swampy “Black Valley Railroad” about a prohibition era train that served whiskey, the country rock “Queens Anne Lace” written on the Columbia River gorge during lockdown, the amusing “Aunt Irene” - who was married 9 times, "Portland" about Maggie's old Plymouth, or the heavy blues rock on “Got it coming”.
At shows they mix in old favorites including the music of Jerry Garcia. JJ Cale, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, traditional blues and more.
