Our #C4PDigitalHub & Resource Centre to #EmpowerCommunities through the #C4PDigitalLiteracyDrive in the Rural Areas.
Objectives:
1. Drive Digital Literacy in the Rural areas for inclusion;
2. Provide working space to promote online skills & jobs;
3. Provide accessible and affordable internet to our rural communities left behind in the Digital Economy.
Currently, we have:
1. Secured space for the Digital Hub & Resource Center in Kakamega County;
2. Finished up the construction of the Hub;
3. Secured a few workstations;
4. Trained communities on Cyber-security.
Next Steps:
1. Furnish up the hub (In 2 weeks' time)
2. Enroll beneficiaries (High School Students, recent graduates, Women and Youth)
3. Official opening/Launch of the Digital Hub
Our Appeal:
1. Support in kind/cash to purchase more workstations;
2. Sponsor a student to enhance digital literacy in the community.
