Join Fareham Creative Space, and your tutor Shannon, in a four-week Zine Club. Write, design, edit, and self-publish your own zine or chapbook, right here in Featherston Booktown.
About Zine Club:
This is a four-week workshop introducing participants to the creative world of zine and chapbook making, with a focus on design, developing your content, and hands-on creation. Over the course of four sessions (and optional homework), each attendee will produce one self-published 8-page zine or chapbook of their own design.
Participants are encouraged to explore a wide range of creative possibilities. Your zine could take the form of a story with watercolour illustrations, a collation or collage showcasing your art, or be focused on your writing or poetry—the choice of theme, medium, and content is entirely up to you.
The workshop aims to empower participants with fresh creative skills and a supportive, collaborative environment. By the end of the four weeks, everyone will have a finished, self-published zine or chapbook to keep, share, or distribute.
Please Note:
Printing and distribution costs are not included in the workshop and will be the responsibility of each participant.
This club probably best suits ages 15 and over.
