Join us August 1st from 4:30–7PM as we celebrate the work of Avery Skaggs—a disabled artist whose vibrant, abstract paintings are created through movement, presence, and non-verbal expression.

For this event, Avery has produced three original pieces that capture the feeling of summer in Juneau—rich with the colors that surround us this time of year. Each painting is a living record of his gestures, energy, and artistic voice.

Come honor Avery’s work, celebrate disability artistry, and soak up some summertime beauty through his eyes.
