"Grease," the musical that brings the 1950s to life is coming to JLT this fall! Danny, Sandy, and the unforgettable Rydell High gang will be bringing a rockin’ ride of romance, rebellion, and catchy tunes to Joplin - and we're looking for a high-energy cast to bring the show to life! No squares, please.
⭐️WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR⭐️
Performers for principle and ensemble roles, ages 17 - 60.
🎼WHAT TO PREPARE🎼
Prepare and memorize 16–32 bars (30 to 60 seconds) of a song in the style of or from the show. Musical theatre, pop, or rock and roll songs are acceptable. You may bring sheet music or a performance track on your phone. Our vocal director will also have selections available.
🎭WHAT TO EXPECT🎭
Auditionees will sing their prepared songs, read selections from the script, and learn a short dance routine. Please dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes for movement and dance!
