Free Educational Community Turtle Tour 2025 Walk & Talk exploring Neil Hawkins Park, Joondalup 🐢💚🐢

With the turtle season in full swing and our beautiful South-western Snake-necked turtles being seen across Perth and the South-west nesting it is a great time to get out there and spot some turtles! 🐢📸👀

This walk will be focused on the 6 turtles that have established themselves around the jetty or boardwalk at Neil Hawkins Park and hopefully get to see the invasive koi and goldfish spawning event.

I will be setting up a table with my educational posters along with ones promoting 1 Million Turtles and TurtleSAT. I will have available for the kids and big kids (of course) to get hands on with some preserved specimens 🐢💚🐢

Make sure to bring all your questions or concerns, let's start the conversation about some truly unique reptiles!
