Main Street Brews and Tunes will host musical guest Charlie Maples on Sunday, September 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Plaza of the International Storytelling Center. The Tasty Traveler food truck will be on site, along with local brews from Main Street Café.🍺🎵
Charlie Maples is a genre-blending band formed in 2020 in East Tennessee. The group features Erin Dalton (arranger for Amythyst Kiah and Bill & The Belles), drummer Andrew Gibbens, keyboardist Isaac Ratliff (Sorrel, Florencia & the Feeling), and multi-instrumentalist Taylor Green. Drawing from jazz, R&B, folk, and indie rock, the band’s sound is rooted in decades of collective experience. Their music combines classic jazz influences with modern textures to create a rich, soulful listening experience.
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food and Brews will start serving at 4 p.m. with music beginning at 5 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.
Yoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. This week’s teacher will be Tereza DiFrancesco.
