JJC Community Band Concert

Join us for the Joliet Junior College Community Band's spring concert on Sunday, May 4 at 3 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre (K-1000) at Main Campus. Under the direction of Professor Charles Morgan, Music Coordinator and Director of Bands, this event promises an afternoon of exceptional music.

The concert will feature a diverse program, starting with Henry Filmore's "The Crosley March" and Randall Standridge's thrilling new "Symphony No. 1: A Ghost Story."

After intermission, the second half will include John Williams' "The Raider's March" from the Indiana Jones movie series, a wonderful transcription of Der Gottergatte (The Divine Husband) by composer Franz Lehar, "Illuminations" by Mark Camphouse, selections from "Wicked" by Stephen Schwartz (arranged by Jow Bocook) and will conclude with the crowd favorite "Stars and Stripes Forever."
