Join us every second Tuesday of the month for a therapeutic recreation evening of fun with music, connection, and fun! Whether you're a seasoned musician or just starting out, this is your chance to learn the ukulele or bring your instrument of choice, to join a jam session. Ukulele and sheet music provided.
Meet our instructor, Lisa Mannion—also known as "Ukulady Lisa." An Army veteran, performer, and singer-songwriter, Lisa is a passionate advocate for veterans' mental health and music education. She created Strumming for Wellness, a therapeutic workshop where veterans and families can learn the basics of the ukulele and master the most common chords in music today.
