Youth Chess Tournament

Official Announcement:
We’re excited to announce a chess tournament for players aged 17 and under, taking place on Thursday, August 7th at the Cambria County Library (2:00 PM). This event is free and open to all youth—both from Johnstown and surrounding areas.

The tournament is unrated, meaning it won’t be run through the US Chess Federation (USCF), and no membership is required to participate.

Medals and prizes will be awarded, and we strongly encourage pre-registration. You can register by:
