About the event

Cottages on the Lake
Heritage Johnstown is pleased to present this program in cooperation with the National Park Service. In this illustrated presentation, Doug Bosley, chief of interpretation/site manager for the Johnstown Flood National Memorial, will share what's known about the 16 cottages belonging to members of the South Fork Fishing & Hunting Club. Details about the cottages' ownership were lost over time, until the discovery of a box of documents from the collection of John Kephart of the Cambria County Historical Society enabled society members and NPS staff to determine the owners of each of them.
