This is YOUR chance to contribute to the solution. Refereeing offers an opportunity to support the game, develop leadership skills, and earn income! Both players and parents are eligible, with a minimum age requirement of 13 years old. This is a great opportunity for players to develop leadership skills and put $$ in your pocket!
- Invite cousins, aunts, uncles or those no longer playing soccer to join you. Participants must be 13 years old when they register for the course.
Payment for the online component and the In-Person component will be online and is a total of $62.50 for both.

For those 18 years of age or older, there will be a background check – which takes about 15 minutes (cost of $30/2 years, plus a small fee) plus a SafeSport assignment that must be completed. Then everyone will complete the Online Grassroots Referee Course and online assignments in the US Soccer Learning Center.
Please remember that when registering in the Learning Center carefully input your name, mailing address and email address (must be unique to you only) as this becomes a record for the entire time you are a referee. - Should you have a change of address or choose to change an email address, do remember to go into your profile in the Learning Center to change those items. Players – do not use an email address your parents used to register you as a player.
Following the successful completion of the online assignments component, the In-Person component will complete everything you need to become a referee.
Whichever In-Person clinic you plan to attend, please do the assignments under that In-Person Clinic to receive credit for the assignments. Should you need to change In-Person clinics after you have signed up, let me know and I will assist you.
