Iowa National Guard 2025 Trench Run Challenge

Prepare for the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and teamwork at the Iowa National Guard's Annual Trench Run Challenge! Experience the thrill of training scenarios as you navigate a series of tactical obstacles and trenches. Open to people in the community and service members, this 10K trail run at scenic Camp Dodge offers a unique and exhilarating adventure.

Expect to complete the course in approximately 2 hours, with opportunities to pause at obstacles and appreciate the unique race features. The trail includes military simulations unlike any other, featuring trenches, smoke, pyrotechnics, blank fire, military and fire vehicles, streams, and even potential helicopter flybys. Gear up for an unforgettable experience!

Who Can Participate:
Open to the public! Participants must be at least 14 years old and in good physical health.

Spots are limited, so secure your place today! To receive the Trench Run t-shirt, you must be registered by July 26th.

Registered participants can pick up their race packets on Saturday, August 9th from 1 PM - 4 PM and Sunday, August 10th, from 6 AM - 7 AM.

Additional Information:
- Participants should wear appropriate attire that can get dirty.
- Bring your own water and snacks.
- Safety briefings will be provided on-site.
- Spectators are welcome! Come and support your friends and family.
