Winged Deer Park Foraging Walk

Join Johnson City Parks and Recreation Naturalist, Connie Deegan, and Harvey Family Farm's Jennifer Chisam, for a foraging walk starting at the Winged Deer Park Disc Golf parking lot. Many native edible wild plants grow in our region in meadows and forested areas that surround Johnson City. Learn to identify a few, get tips on preparation and how to sustainably harvest, and their value to wildlife!
