Are you curious about the people, places, and things of the East Tennessee & Western North Carolina Railroad, affectionately known as the Tweetsie?
Join us for the annual convention of the ET&WNC Railroad Historical Society the last weekend of May 2025.
Our planned schedule includes:
• Visit Doe River Gorge to hike and ride the former ET&WNC rails
• Visit Tweetsie Railroad for a shop tour and an exclusive ride behind #190 with photo run-bys
• Admission to the Johnson City Railroad Experience museum
• Presentations on the Engine 12 Restoration Project and building an Fn3 model of an ET&WNC engine
• Banquet and business meeting
• Meals at the Tweetsie Palace catered by Dan’l Boone Inn and at Doe River Gorge

• $100 per person for members and their guests
• $130 per person for non-member which includes Society membership for 2025–2026. Bring a guest for $100.
