Description:We’re back this August with another unforgettable night of rhythm, resonance, and real connection. Kọ Café’s Open Mic is more than a mic and a stage—it’s where stories breathe, voices rise, and community thrives!

This month, we’re honored to welcome our featured poet Lyrical Faith (@lyricalfaithpoetry)—an international award-winning spoken word artist, educator, and activist from The Bronx. A three-time Women of the World Poetry Slam finalist, Lyrical Faith’s work has graced the stage at the legendary Apollo Theatre and has been featured on NPR, Button Poetry, and Huffington Post Black Voices. With roots in education and deep ties to community organizing, her poetry is a force of truth, art, and unapologetic freedom.
