On the 2nd Friday of every month, two incredible featured poets will take the stage alongside a lineup of fearless performers from our vibrant poetry community. Open mic slots are 5 minutes each, giving you the perfect space to share your truth—whether it’s poetry, spoken word, or a story waiting to be heard.

6/13 FEATURED ACTS UPDATED: Attorious and Justin Woo
Attorious Renée Augustin is a nonbinary (she/they/oracle/omen), queer, performance poet, filmmaker, and educator from Wanamassa, NJ. Their work focuses on transformation and community, and their hope is for their art to serve as a catalyst in the liberation of all people from oppressive systems. Attorious received their poetry MFA at Rutgers University- Newark, the host of Lampblack’s Instagram Live Series, “The Inky Bulb” and alchemizing each day through vibration.
Justin Woo is a poet, filmmaker, and theatre artist. He represented Jersey City at the National Poetry Slam in 2011 and 2012. He has participated in The Spoken Word Almanac Project, New Street Poets, Flux Theatre Ensemble, The Almost Famous Film Festival, the Asian American Film Lab's 72 Hour Shootout, and Insurgo Stage Project.
SPECIAL GUEST: Tabitha Dial
Tabitha Dial is a tarot and tea leaf reader and poet. Tabitha hung up her apron after twelve years as a red jacket trained Murray’s Cheese monger in Colorado and Kentucky. She lives with the love of her life in New Jersey. She is also the author of “Creative Divination: Read Tea Leaves and Develop your Personal Code”. She is charmed by curiosity, book clubs, and camping.
