Jersey City-based author and artist Arthur Bruso’s memoir is a profound exploration of the gay experience, highlighting enduring challenges and the fight for true equality—from the Lavender Scare as presented in the streaming series and book Fellow Travelers, to the author’s own sexual awakening and heartbreaking murder of his first serious partner—a moving testament to the resilience and complexity of queer lives.
