A Michigan native, Nancy Simmons Roberson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Adrian College and has pursued graduate studies at Michigan State University. Her career in education spanned over three decades, during which she served as a teacher, coach, and athletic director at Bath Community Schools in Bath, Michigan, from 1969 to 2003.
With more than 40 years of experience in genealogical research, Nancy has cultivated a deep passion for preserving family histories. She has served as president of the Louisville Genealogical Society in 2013, 2014, and 2020, and has been instrumental in organizing and teaching internet genealogy classes at her church and several branches of the Louisville Public Library. Nancy's commitment to genealogy extends to active membership in esteemed organizations, including the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research, First Families of Ohio, the John Marshall DAR Chapter, and the Kentucky Mayflower Society.
