Compassion Fatigue and Caring for Ourselves in a Crazy World

Join Dr. Wharton to talk about the concepts of burnout, trauma, compassion satisfaction and cognitive schema. We will discuss definitions so that you can have some language to talk about the ideas, what is the difference between them, and why it matters. We’ll share strategies for how to respond to trauma, burnout, and low compassion satisfaction, and discuss how we use our ABCs: Awareness, Balance, & Connections.
