Archery Challenge: Build a Working Bow

Ready for a fantastic hands-on project? Join our Family Build Time workshop to craft your own functioning miniature bow and arrow!

This 50-minute workshop is all about teamwork and engineering a simple machine. You and your adult helper will use craft sticks, rubber bands, and hot glue to construct the miniature bow. Once built, we’ll use a straw arrow to learn safe aiming techniques and practice basic archery skills!

The building process is engaging for kids aged 6 and up, but the project involves tricky assembly and the use of hot glue. An adult helper is strongly recommended for children under 9 to ensure a great, successful build. Everyone gets to take their bow and arrow home to keep practicing!

$12 per parent/child team, $16 for a team with 2 children
