Heads Up! Missouri Community Bike Ride

Break out your bike and helmet from their cold-weather slumber and join the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety on May 10 for a community bike ride around downtown Jefferson City. We will begin registering people at 9:00 a.m. and set out of Red Wheel Bike Shop at 9:30 a.m. This is meant to be a fun, casual bike ride to raise awareness for the new Heads Up! Missouri initiative that aims to improve safety and access for all non-vehicle road users. The ride will be very short (around 5 miles), but the route does contain hills, so please view the route before planning to participate. Safety is our top priority, so all participants will be required to wear at least a helmet during the ride, but we also encourage additional protection and brightly colored clothing. Once the ride is finished, join us back at Red Wheel Bike Shop for light refreshments, and the first 25 participants registered will also receive a free swag bag, including a t-shirt, bike light, and more!
