👻 Afternoon Hike – Bjerrine, the Ghost Village
📆Join us on Saturday, Sept 27, 2025 for a unique afternoon hike from Hssarat to Bjerrine, the mysterious ghost village! 🌿🏚️
🎬We’ll start from Hssarat, explore Gherfine village with its charming abandoned house, visit Mar Estefan Church, and continue to Bjerrine – once a thriving village rich with deep wells and lush vegetation, now left in haunting silence with its crumbling stone walls.
Hike Details:
📏 Distance: 7–8 km
⏱ Duration: 3–4 hrs
⚙️ Level: Moderate
⛰ Altitude: 150 m
Schedule:
🕜 Departure: 1:30 PM Furn El Chebbak (Burger King)
1:45PM Dbayeh (under Naccache bridge – Demerjian Center)
🌅 After the hike: Relax at a cozy seaside restaurant for sunset, tea, or a refreshing drink 🌊
🕘 Return: Around 9:30 PM
Fees: $20 (includes transportation,energy bar, guides & first aid – excludes medical insurance)
What to bring: Comfortable hiking shoes – Water – Light snacks – Hat – Light jacket
