Race For A Place to Call Home 5K/10K/1mi Run& Walk

Join us on Saturday, August 16, 2025 for the 5th Annual Race for a Place to Call Home to benefit Project 16:49 and our community's homeless youth. The event takes place in Janesville’s beautiful Riverside Park - the start / finish line is located at the North Pavilion. Registration and check-in is from 6:45 to 7:15 AM. The first runners will start the course at 7:30 AM; walkers will begin after all runners are on the course. The event will be held rain or shine!

The course is flat and fast - a great opportunity to set your new PR! Professional chipped timing is provided for all runners by Velocity Multi-Sport & Cycling. Trophies are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the men's and women's 5K and 10K, along with other prizes for age group winners.

All registrants receive running bibs, t-shirts, finisher medallions with lanyard, and swag bag. Register before August 1st to guarantee your race t-shirt size.
