Keeping the Keys Program by AAA | Room 106 from 10 - 11am

The “Keeping the Keys” program is a driver safety initiative focused on helping senior drivers maintain their driving independence for as long as safely possible. These programs offer resources and information to help older adults adapt to age-related changes, assess their driving abilities, and explore alternative transportation options when necessary.

CarFit is a free, educational program that helps older drivers assess and improve how well their vehicle fits them for safety and comfort. It focuses on adjustments like seat position, mirror placement, and steering wheel distance to optimize a driver’s comfort and control, ultimately promoting safer driving. Trained CarFit technicians guide participants through a checklist, providing advice and resources for community-specific programs that enhance mobility.
