Well Re(a)d Book Club

Join the Jackson County Library Foundation at 6 P.M. on Thursday, August 28, at Remotion Winery in Jacksonville for our first-ever Well Re(a)d Book Club! We'll discuss Matt Haig's The Midnight Library. Remotion recommends pairing The Midnight Library with a flight of wine, and for the month of August, it will donate $1 from every flight purchased to support our Jackson County libraries. Pairing notes:
The Midnight Library revolves around a woman in her mid-30s who decides to end her life. But between life and death, she unexpectedly finds herself in a library full of books that contain lives she could have led. With the assistance of a librarian mentor, she chases the weight of regrets, sampling book after book, discovering the expected and the unexpected nuances within each “what if.” The story ends with a choice, so for our inaugural Well Re(a)d Book Club, Remotion recommends pairing The Midnight Library with a flight of wine... and in the end, we hope you find the wine to choose as yours.
