25th Annual Juneteenth Celebrations

Join us as we celebrate the 25th Annual Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom.

Before it was a National Holiday.. before it was trendy..
WE'VE been celebrating Juneteenth here in Jacksonville for 25 Years, with you.. the community.

This year we return to where we started, a place where the history of Jacksonville can't be told without and the place were the spirit of Juneteenth can still be felt.. Georgetown Park.

This 3 day event will focus on the depth and versatility of our community starting on Juneteenth, Thursday 6/19 with an honoring of selected veterans from different branches of the military.

Friday, 6/20 get ready to praise and fellowship during our Gospel Afternoon featuring performances by The Gospel Sensations, members of the various church communities in Jacksonville and Eastern N.C, with sounds curated by The Spirit.

Saturday 6/21, come close out this celebration with a Freedom Day Festival where you can listen to music, watch performances, and hear speeches from people active in our community to get better acquainted with the faces and people across generations in the fight with you.
