Our Monday evening Summer Cooking Series for Older Kids is the perfect way to get a break from the Florida heat. Whether your child is preparing to fly the nest and you want him to learn to cook, or you just want to hang out with her in a fun interactive setting, JAX Cooking Studio is the place to be on Monday evenings!
June 2: Shrek-Inspired Swamp Fest
Ogre Burgers with Avocado slime sauce- Mini burgers (sliders) topped with a creamy avocado sauce.
Gingerbread cookies with gumdrop buttons- Gingerbread cookies decorated with colorful gumdrop buttons, just like Shrek’s pal, Gingy!
Onions Have Layers – Crispy onion rings served with homemade ranch dressing.
Poison Apple Slaw – A fun twist on coleslaw using apple cider vinegar for a tangy flavor.

Step into Shrek’s swamp and create a fun and whimsical feast! You’ll make “Ogre Burgers” with “slime sauce” (avocado crema), decorate Gingerbread cookies with gumdrop buttons like Gingy, and learn that “onions have layers” by making crispy onion rings. A healthy “Poison Apple Slaw” adds a touch of fun to this Shrek-tastic menu.
