"Sugarhouse" is an award-winning film produced in southeast Missouri, featuring locations in Cape Girardeau and Perry counties. The movie had its world premiere at the St. Louis International Film Festival, and features CPC Pastor Darren DeLoach!
It is the inspiring story of a teenage girl struggling to hold the family together after being abandoned by their outlaw father. As a mysterious disorder threatens her little sister, and her wayward brother returns, she soon uncovers the secrets that lie within the family sugarhouse. "Sugarhouse" explores the bonds of sisterhood and father-son relationships against the backdrop of the rural Midwest.
