The Best Babysitter is a SAFE SITTER!

A Safe Sitter® is a medically accurate up-to-date babysitting course that teaches students ages 10—15. Participants learn how to understand and interact with children of different ages, how to handle life-threatening emergencies and when and how to call for help. This class instructs in nurturing and protecting children through hands-on training with specially trained experts. This 6.5-hour course has an instructor ratio of eight to one to ensure personal guidance. Building safer communities since 1980.®

Topics Covered
-Learn how to perform infant and child choking rescue and CPR. Course does not provide CPR certification.
-Life & Business Skills.
-Child Care Skills.
-First Aid Skills.
-Accident Management.
-How to entertain children and keep them safe.

Class Fee: $50
Payment needs to be made at time of sign up and can be made by cash or check.

SAFE SITTER classes are offered quarterly through the Sutter Amador Hospital Education Department.
