Join The Salvation Army and our community partners for a Stuff the Bus school‑supply distribution day! Families in need of backpacks and grade‑appropriate school supplies are invited to stop by the Salvation Army Jackson Corps between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Newly crowned Miss Tennessee Volunteer 2026, Meghan Poore, will greet families at 2:00 PM and share remarks about the importance of education and community service.
All you will need is a photo ID and to complete a brief questionnaire.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we collected hundreds of supplies during last weekend’s Stuff the Bus campaign. Now it’s time to get those supplies into the hands of students! Children will receive backpacks filled with notebooks, pencils, crayons, and other essentials so they can start the school year ready to learn. Volunteers from The Salvation Army and our partners will be on site to distribute supplies and answer any questions.
Who should come?
1. Families with students enrolled in school who need assistance with school supplies.
2. Community members who wish to volunteer or learn more about our programs.
