Kayak Rolling Group Class

Rolling a kayak is an essential skill for whitewater and sea kayakers. Taught by our ACA certified instructors, this group course will teach you the building blocks to a reliable and repeatable kayak roll as well as skills on how to feel more balanced and stable in your kayak. This class is open to both river kayakers and sea kayakers.

Topics covered:
- Edging / Bracing
- Hip snaps / boat-to-boat rescues
- Sweep roll / C2C roll
- On-side vs. off-side rolls
- Injury prevention & conditioning for kayak rolling

Required Equipment: Whitewater or Sea Kayak, paddle, spray skirt, helmet, float vest, closed toed shoes, and wet suit or dry suit with appropriate base layers. Wet suit or dry suit and other personal accessories are required but not included in the price of the class.
