We’re transforming the Omni Las Colinas Lawn, Tiki Bar, and Pool into a softly enchanted summer reading escape. Think fairy lights, wrapped books, botanical keepsakes, lakeside lounging, and a little seasonal magic.

What to Expect

📚 The Bookish Exchange Table

Bring a wrapped book from home—something that made you feel enchanted, cozy, or completely transported. At check-in, place it on the swap table and fill out a little note card with prompts like:

“Read this when you want to feel…”

“Perfect for fans of…”

Later in the evening, we’ll call numbers in small groups for your turn to choose a wrapped book that calls to you. Every pick is part mystery, part recommendation, part connection.

🌿 The Chapter Bundle BarCreate your own scented sachet—a take-home botanical keepsake for your current season, crafted from a curated mix of herbs, blooms, and other soft, fragrant touches. Blend, wrap, and tag your creation with a note for the “chapter” you’re stepping into.

🍹 Lawn Lounge & Welcome Sip

Spread out your blanket, sip a “Magical Margarita” (courtesy of YaVe Tequila), and enjoy lakefront views. The Tiki Social Bar will be serving cocktails and food all evening.

🌅 Sunset Poolside Read & Dip

End the night floating, dipping, or lounging by the pool with your new book in hand. Swimsuits encouraged.

Bring:

• A wrapped book to swap (optional but encouraged)
• Your current read
• A blanket for lawn lounging
• A swimsuit if you’re poolside-inclined
