In this course, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of cancer, its effects on the skin, and how to safely and effectively care for clients during treatment. Our expert instructors will share practical techniques and real-world insights to help elevate your skills and make a real impact.

During hands-on activities, multiple participants will work at once. Everyone will have the opportunity to both give and receive a treatment. Let’s support one another and make the most of this shared learning experience.

Local Hotels: Most of our attendees stay at the Hyatt House, Hyatt Place or Embassy Suites in Las Colinas.

Meals: We will have coffee and water throughout the day. Lunch will be provided each day.

Mindset:
Imagine yourself as a cup—not full, but open and ready to soak up fresh knowledge. During our training, let’s stay curious and open-minded. That way, we’ll absorb new information and techniques, while sharpening the ones we already know. Learning doesn’t stop—it just gets better when you’re in the right mindset!

Focus:
Ever notice how kids pick things up so fast? It’s because they’re completely into the moment. Let’s tap into that same energy—stay present, stay focused, and the learning will not only be faster, but way more fun, too!

Self-Study:
Training is like catching a wave of info—there’s a lot coming your way! Take time to process and reflect during and after our sessions. Keep revisiting your notes and materials, and don’t just rely on memory. The more you review, the more it sticks!

Practice:
You’ve heard it before—practice makes progress (and perfection). After training, keep those skills fresh by practicing regularly. Want to level up even more? Try volunteering—it’s a great way to grow while making a positive impact on someone else’s journey.
