Lights of Pride 2025

Join us at Ironwood City Square on June 8th, 2025, from 7:30-10 pm for the 3rd annual Lights of Pride vigil event! During Pride Month, we celebrate our identities and the progress of the queer community. Lights of Pride is a moment for us to honor the martyrs, the fighters, and our elders who fought for us to be where we are today. Join us in a heartfelt tribute to these remarkable individuals as we come together to share our personal stories and reflect on the pressing issues that affect us in today’s world.
We invite everyone to come up and speak about their experiences and pay tribute to an LGBTQ+ friend or family member they have lost, or someone (past or present) who inspires them to keep going in these tough times. We welcome all speeches, spoken poetry, songs, etc. We will be posting a google form where you can sign up and submit your speech/poem/song for approval (this is just so we know who is speaking and to ensure safety!). The form is also linked on our event flyers via QR code. Event starts at 7:30, speeches will start at 8.

Please note that Lights of Pride sheds light on some heavy topics such as suicide, mental health, and Anti-LGBTQ+ violence. We ask that attendees stay aware of this and be in the right headspace to engage in discussion of these topics. Some topics may not be suitable for children under 13; parental discretion is advised.
